Recognised Qualifications
We are an approved RYA Test Centre for the International Certificate of Competence.
This is particularly useful for skippers planning cross channel and other overseas cruising with their own boat or a charter boat.
It is often a requirement for some European countries and widely required as proof of competence by Insurers.
For experienced Sailors a refresher and test may only take a day. Typical cost £199
For less experienced and those with no training, a minimum of two days are required. Starting at £299
Those wishing to cover overseas Inland waterways will need to add to the ICC with a CEVNI endorsement. This is a RYA home study course and test. We offer this for £99. For those requiring a classroom course at Waterfront, the cost is £149
